I love TV theme tunes. Not all of them, mind you. Who could truly love the theme to 'Eastenders'? But, on the flip side, whose heart doesn't melt when they hear 'The Littlest Hobo'.

There is no question that I am a child of technology and television is just part of that. When your parents ask you at 8 years old to programme the timer on the video, you know the technology is ingrained.

As for TV themes, I've steadily been building up a massive collection. The sound quality of some are great, some are harder to get. 'Sorry', for example, is a wonderfully quirky theme tune, but finding a decent rendition on the Net is virtually impossible, and I'm not so committed that I'll buy the box set just for 30 seconds of audio!
